Tiara Kinsey-Dadzie
Transitional Living Community Navigator ExperienceTiara Kinsey-Dadzie is a dedicated advocate, researcher, and PhD student in the College of Social Work at The Ohio State University. With a background in Community and Public Health (B.S., Ohio University, 2020) and a Master of Public Health (2022), her work focuses on addressing housing insecurity among survivors of intimate partner violence (IPV) and eliminating barriers to support services for immigrant women of color and African American women. A Columbus-Athens Schweitzer Fellow, Tiara has spearheaded impactful initiatives such as creating an online resource bank for Refugee Women in Action and evaluating the Ohio Domestic Violence Network's Emergency Hotel Assistance Program. She has served as a Domestic Violence Housing Advocate at The Center for Family Safety and Healing, an entity of Nationwide Children’s Hospital, and as a Community Navigator for transitional-aged youth (18–24) at United Way of Delaware County. Aspiring to leadership in the non-profit sector, Tiara blends her passion for social justice with her expertise in public health and policy advocacy to empower marginalized communities and drive meaningful change.
