Job Opportunities: 

Director of Philanthropy

The UWDC Director of Philanthropy, a full-time position with competitive salary/benefit package, will lead the ongoing development and fundraising efforts of UWDC and its initiatives with a special focus on major donor relationships, procurement of transformational, and planned/endowed gifts. The Director of Philanthropy is primarily responsible for identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding individual donors with the capacity to make significant financial contributions. Working closely with the executive and development teams, this role leads the strategy and execution of a robust major gifts program that aligns with the organization’s fundraising goals and mission impact. The Director of Philanthropy will also provide leadership, direction and support for all other development aspects as needed, and other duties and tasks as necessary.

This position requires a dynamic relationship-builder who is comfortable engaging with high-net-worth individuals and is skilled at crafting personalized donor experiences.

Transitional Living Program Community Navigator

The Young Adult Transitional Living Program (YATLP) at TreeHouse provides housing and support services to young people (18-24) who are exiting homelessness. The case manager will provide individualized and specialized support to participants focusing on obtaining employment, financial literacy, meeting program expectations, maintaining housing, and increasing academic achievement.

Transitional Living Coach

United Way of Delaware County’s Young Adult Transitional Living Program provides housing and support services for individuals aged 18 - 24 experiencing housing insecurity during evening, overnight and weekend hours. Our coach position provides resources, mentorship, advocacy, system navigation and general supervision. This role will assist with community outreach while providing support for comprehensive case management to help individuals become self-sufficient with the ultimate goal of obtaining permanent housing. Fundamentally they will be a coach and advocate for vulnerable and marginalized young people in need of support and guidance.
