Bianca Blakey

Bianca is a recent graduate from The Ohio State University with a BS in Human Development and Family Science. In 2016, she obtained an AAS in Nutrition from Youngstown State University.  Before going back to school to complete her undergrad career, she had the opportunity of pursuing nutrition career opportunities as a Diet Clerk at a local hospital, a foodservice coordinator at a therapeutic elementary school, and a dietetic technician with WIC (City of Columbus), along with working with families and children as a Youth Program Assistant at Ohio State University and a Technical Assistant Specialist at Action for Children.

Bianca is very creative and loves to bake. During the 2020 pandemic, she took on the hobby, hoping to perfect her homemade cakes. Trying new recipes is always fun and, in the future, she is hoping to learn more about the process of cake decorating. She also spends a lot of her down time tending to her recently acquired puppy named Milo! 

“I love what United Way of Delaware County stands for. I could see right away how tight-knit and caring everyone is in terms of serving the community. My hope is that I can be another valuable piece in helping those in need and linking individuals to resources that may seem far from reach.”
